Big Games this Weekend
Middlesbrough – Burnley (Friday at 21:00)
Ok, it might not be ‘El Clasico’ or a fierce derby, but considering the current Championship table, this could be a great match to start off the weekend with! Burnley are top of the table, with Middlesbrough in 3rd, chasing Sheffield United for 2nd, which of course secures direct promotion. A Burnley win here will all but secure both themselves and Sheffield United a spot in the PL next season.
Lazio – Juventus (Saturday at 20:45)
Napoli are running away with the title, but the battle for the European spots is extremely fierce in Serie A this season. Lazio are currently 2nd in the table, while Juventus (having been docked 15 points) are in 7th place. An away win here will open up the race considerably, whereas a Lazio win will go a long way in securing Sarri’s side a CL spot for next season.
Liverpool – Arsenal (Sunday at 17:30)
It’s the big one – El Clásico! The home side are favourites here, as they look to be cruising into the league title, but if any team is capable of stunning Barca at home, it would be Ancelotti’s side. Grab the popcorn, cause this could get entertaining!
